A fantasy theme based on two separate kingdoms fighting each other because of their differences, but can only be united through one brave girl who believes in hope. The themes are light-hearted, fantastical and adventurous complex themes of an evil, power-hungry queen, rivalry and betrayal, lies and deceit by queen Ingrith’s plan to destroy the fairy world, war, manipulation which are mitigated by the positive themes of honesty, loyalty, King John’s quest to bring peace and harmony and unite the two kingdoms, motherhood, restoration, the phoenix rising and good overcoming evil. Set within the context of a fairy tale fantasy, with a low sense of threat and menace that may be confusing and upsetting to viewers younger than 7 years, there are positive outcomes of good triumphing over evil and a celebration of love.
